Archery Tag Locations in the GTA

Last Updated - July 6th 2015.

In writing this review of Archery Tag locations in the Greater Toronto Area it is important to note that we weighed a variety of things and then narrowed down what things we felt were the most important for customers. The individual companies involved will likely not like this comparison as it shows some clear winners in terms of the level of quality, prices, discounts, arena time and possible fines for damaged equipment (which we felt was odd, as broken arrows is bound to happen). Much of the information on this page is gleaned from the websites of the individual companies.

Lets start with the cheapest location, Battle Archery in Brampton. Thanks to their discount codes they are offering $11 Monday to Friday and $15.40 on Saturday and Sunday. This makes them by far the cheapest option, assuming you don't mind driving all the way to Brampton. The downsides of Battle Archery are that they only give you 50 minutes of arena time, and they charge a fine if you accidentally damage their equipment - and we should note they are using low quality equipment, which is more prone to breaking.

Next lets talk about where you get the most bang for your buck: Battle Sports does charge $24.99, but with the VIP 20% discount code it works out to only $19.99. They also offer higher quality equipment and services, and they provide a full hour of arena time + 30 minutes of practice time. The only downside to Battle Sports is that they only allow 20 people at once. Still, with the reasonable price and the only downside being a cap of 20 people, that is a pretty good deal.

Next on our list is The Archers Arena, which boasts a huge location with capacity for 50 people at once. Like Battle Sports, they also offer 1 hour of arena time + 30 minutes practice, however they ban players from playing if they accidentally damage equipment. Not sure what to think about that. However because they have space for 50 people it does mean they are able to take in more walk-ins off the street, random people who just show up and want to join the next match. We haven't found any discount offers for them however, so they are a bit more expensive.

Archery Circuit does offer a promotional discount of 20%, but only during June and July. They offer an unusual feature too, the arena time is actually 75 minutes with a 15 minute "rest" in the middle for players to catch their breath, get a drink, go to the bathroom, etc. So that is a nice perk.

Archery District was the first location in the GTA to offer Archery Tag, but they now seem to be resting on their laurels. They charge a fine if you damage equipment and the equipment is low quality and breaks easily. You only get 50 minutes of actual arena time however, so it is all over very quickly and you are left thinking "That was it?" They also suffer from a shortage of arrows (they break easily) and their space feels oddly cramped. They have a cap of 20 people at once, so while they were once praised for the being the first location, Archery District is now one of the less quality places to do Archery Tag.

Archery Game and Archery Terminal are basically copies of Archery District but located in Vaughan and Mississauga. Same prices, same shoddy equipment that breaks easily, same 50 minutes of arena time, and the fines if you accidentally break equipment.

The clear winners out of the bunch are Battle Archery in Brampton (due to their super cheap discount prices) and Battle Sports, which offers both quality, longer arena time and good prices.

We strongly recommend people shop around and make their own informed decision. Also if you find any discount codes, please email us so we can share them with others. Also if you see any of these companies have changed their prices, their rules, etc then please notify us so we can update their info.
